The sailor’s journey around the world.
See the world around for free with higher green.
Live a better life than we can imagine.
Sailors life is a real travels. Sailing, Navigating on calm or stormy weather, Trans-Atlantic, Trans-Pacific or travel by sea voyages from one port to another!
Sailor’s job is a real hard! Whoever you are, Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Thailand, Greek, Bulgarian and more nationalities! There is only one truth, Being away from home for one whole contract is not a thing that to be taken lightly!
Its hard keeping that easy for every sailors mind around the world.
Some sailors of other nationalities other than Filipinos are really competitive in terms on contract completion!
You give us a 7 months contract or more? We will probably asked for another months!
Why? A lots of reasons!
Someone need to stay more on board in order to spend a Christmas vacation with their family, or needed to stay more because they’re building their dream houses. Some will attend their daughter’s 7th birthday and debut, Sons graduation day and more and lot more reasons. Those were reality and real truth.
Everyone of us have our reasons.
The real truth is, no one gets richer for a month or two months of contract extension! No one will also gets poorer for just to complete a contract! In fact, we’re all going back again on board after a couple of months on vacation with family and friends. It’s just a matter of mind set that if someone stay more on board they earn more! That is absolutely wrong!
Life on board any seagoing vessel is in fact very unusual! Living in a very limited number of community for a long period of time is something we should avoid. Or something we should be thinking about!
When will it change?
It should be now or never! Imagine when were all young at 20! We were all happy with our childhood friends and relatives. Until we got our first employment on board.
Now, If you’re 40, 50 or even 60 plus years old and still sailing? It’s time to think back what have we done to our life? What was our life on board for a long time and what will be our life after sea-life?
Are we really ready to tackle the life that we are not used to live with it?
Sometimes, it’s just a matter of pride if we thought that our mind and our heart can still compete with younger generation sailors. This is just an imagination. It’s time to accept that our body can no longer react the way it was. The time is up and running out! It is time to spend the rest of our life and start to live a real life!
If we don’t stop at a age of 55 to 60 or younger, What will be the future awaits us? We spent our lives paying our monthly liabilities? Yes! Children’s tuition fees paid on time? Yes! paid our debts in a bank loans for our luxury cars and others needs? Yes!
How about our own life? Did you think what kind of life had you lived since you started a seafaring job?
Life span now a days is getting shorter whether we like it or not! When do we intend to live a life we really dreamt for? I don’t care if you’re a president of a big company or a clerk! if you really like what you’re doing? Then so be it! But if you think you’re not happy with it. Time is all you’ve got! There’s still time to change your lifestyle before its really too late! Time is too short and it’s really time to regroup whoever you are. Sailor’s life is hard but our life is harder after sea-life if we don’t act now. The only thing I can say, Stop as early as you can and you can still enjoy a real life. It’s hard but it’s real!
To summarize, not all sailors have the same fate. There are those who are fortunate to find a good job 👍 in the office, turn their back on high salaries temptations? I salute them. Those who established their own training centers and review centers? Those are real changes of their lives. Those who establish their own businesses being the own boss of their business and companies. Not to mention a few..
Nevertheless, Whatever you do as long as you love ❤️ what you’re doing, Go on and continue. It’s the life we choose, there’s no deviation, no turning back. There’s only one truth. There’s always an end! Continue reading The real truth about sailors around the World 🌎
